QUEEN BE
A community for Australian women experiencing menopause and perimenopause.
Roughly 20% of the workforce is going through Menopause.
For some workplaces and regions it is significantly higher. We are based in Central Queensland and understand the challenges of being a regional based organisation.
Our aim is to support you in creating a menopause-friendly work environment. By doing so, you will not only help women who may be doing it tough – you help everyone!
With psychological safety high on the agenda and, let’s face it, productivity is more important than ever before – we can share strategies, frameworks and facilitate workshops to support the creation of a more humanised, productive workplace.
Our CEO and facilitator/coach Tanya Rutherford has a background in leadership and management development and coaching.
We tailor our sessions to your needs. Reach out and let us know how we can support.

Gudamuli and welcome to the Queenbe website. We wish to acknowledge the traditional custodians, the Darumbal and the Bundjalung nation, from whose lands we create, broadcast and deliver from, and recognize their continuous connection to country, sea, and community. We pay our respects to them and to their Elders past, present, and emerging. We also share an appreciation of their deep knowledge of storytelling, an age-old practice that spans generations, cultures, and millennia. It’s through stories that wisdom is passed, histories preserved, and connections are. made. It’s a tradition that has breathed life into the very essence of our identities and communities.
